Together with our partners, we are developing versatile solutions that are important for our future - most of which, however, we cannot see. They help to use resources more efficiently, save energy and reduce CO2 emissions. This is good for the environment in the long term.
BASF is actively working to protect the climate and plays a pioneering role here. "Our products help our customers to save CO2 - whether in residential construction, automobiles or industrial production. Overall, our products save more than 250 million metric tons of CO2 worldwide," says Harald Schwager. This is three times more than the CO2 emitted during the production and disposal of all BASF's products.
To continue to improve this, BASF is developing innovative technologies and materials for sustainable climate protection. They help to use resources more efficiently, save energy and reduce CO2 emissions.
