BASF Indonesia was awarded the Platinum Circular and Golden Awards due to excellent safety management practices.

The National Committee Responsible Care Indonesia (RCI) named BASF Indonesia winner of the Platinum Circular and Golden awards. The committee of the competition analyzed the implementation of safety practices at work in chemical companies. BASF was recognized for excellent safety management practices.
Mr. Henry Choo, President Director of BASF Indonesia who received the awards said: "The awards reflect BASF's active commitment to the chemical industry’s worldwide Responsible Care initiatives. On an operational basis, we embrace responsibility for meeting environmental protection and safety goals in all facets of our daily work." Henry Choo credited BASF employees their contributions to help BASF meet this commitment.
The Responsible Care® Awards provide recognition to Responsible Care signatories that have demonstrated an excellent performance in implementing the six codes of management ethics, including Community Awareness and Emergency Response; Process Safety; Pollution Prevention; Employee Health & Safety; Distribution Safety and Product Stewardship.
