A new tool for farmers all over the world
BASF’s agricultural experts have set new standards with F 500®, a new-generation strobilurin with properties that its current rivals cannot match. The innovative crop protection agent quickly and reliably controls the main fungal diseases that affect crops such as cereals, vegetables, fruit and vines. F 500® offers long-lasting protection even in very low quantities and has favorable toxicological and ecotoxicological properties. In testimony to its excellent properties, fungicides containing this active ingredient have already been approved for agricultural use in many major markets.

Its broad spectrum of action makes F 500® a genuine all-purpose fungicide and an ideal mixing partner for formulating a variety of products. BASF expects a medium-term annual sales potential of EUR 300 million for F 500® - key markets being Europe and the Americas - allowing BASF to reinforce its market position among the world’s top three manufacturers of crop protection products.
